 RESCUE 1
Rescue 1 is a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Heavy Duty with a
5.7L Hemi V-8. It has a automatic transmission, four wheel drive, and can hold
up to six people. This vehicle has been outfitted with equipment for
extrication, EMS/First-Aid, Salvage/Overhaul, and other firefighting equipment. |

CAR 1
Car 1 is a 2008 Dodge Charger. This vehicle is driven by the Fire Chief and used for incident
command. |

 TANKER 1

Motor- L-10-300 LP Cummings

Pump- 450 gpm single stage
Water Tank- 3000 gallons
Seating- 2, no SCBAs on truck
Preconnects-400' of 1 3/4", 200' of 2 1/2”, 80’ of 5”, 100” of 1 3/4" for jet
siphons for drafting, and 200’ of forestry hose
Tanker 1 is our first out tanker on all fire calls.

Truck 1 responds on all commercial fires and fire alarms called in by an alarm
company. Truck 1 has an assortment of ladders, search and rescue tools,
positive pressure fans, and salvage and overhaul tools.

 GRASS 1
Grass 1 is a 1984 Chevrolet 1 Ton 4x4. There
is room for 3 fire fighters. It has a 220 gallon water tank with Class A foam
capacity. Grass 1 is our first out truck for all grass and woods fires. Grass
1 is used in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Forestry.

 GRASS 2
Grass 2 is a 1964 Military Deuce and 1/2.
There is room for 2 fire fighters. It has a 600 gallon water tank with Class A
foam capacity, from either the booster hose, deck gun with a booster hose
nozzle, or through a section of 1 3/4 hose. Also added to the truck are
nozzles that are under the driver's side bed area to help control hot spots
and to knock down the fire.
Grass 2 was built by Firefighter/Operator
Tony Cassel. It is our third out truck for all grass and woods fires. Grass 2
is used in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Forestry.

 GRASS 3
Grass 3 Is a 1999 GMC Sierra 3500 4X4 with a
crew cab. There is room for 6 fire fighters. It has a 250 gallon water tank
with A 10 gallon Class A foam cell. Grass 3 is one of our first out truck for
all grass and woods fires. |

 TANKER 4
Tanker 4 is a 1980 Mack 18 Wheeler with a 7,900
gallon Tank. There is room for 2 fire fighters. Tanker 4 responds as needed on
structure fires when no hydrant are available and on major emergencies when
large amount of water is needed. In September 2006, an external 400 gpm single
stage pump was installed.

MAINTENANCE 1
Maintenance 1 is a 2001 Dodge Ram
2500 Pick-up. It is an administrative vehicle and used for station maintenance. |

Car 6
is a 2003 Chevy Suburban and is used as an
administrative vehicle. This vehicle is driven by the Assistant Chief. It's emergency lighting has been set up with low
profile in mind and is also set up for incident command.
